Dungeon Kyuri - Team Kyuri 1998 (Net Yaroze)
Просмотров 1393 года назад
Developed by Yoshiki Kashitani and Yasuharu Inamasu in 1998. Most dialogs have been skipped. You can talk to the elder by just walking near him and read post signs pressing up. Blue energy circles allow you to save your progress in a memory card. It's a very enjoyable game.

Developed by Alex Mole in 2002 using the Playstation Net Yaroze SDK. alexmole.co.uk/jeff/index.htm The game lacks sound but the control and collision detection are very accurate. Although it's very short, you can at least replay it taking different paths.
Net Yaroze - DraPas2 - ネットやろうぜ

Developed by Toshiharu Araki (荒木 敏晴) and Jiro Kurihara (栗原 二郎) in 1997. In this sequel we can see some improvements in the graphic and sound departments. However, the flawed combat system is its weakest point. It's a shame because the game looks really good. I'm not showing the end credits because some people may find the pictures controversial.

A game by Soluze Developers created using the Playstation Net Yaroze SDK in 1997. Despite its simplicity it's actually a well designed game as it features some of the elements you'd expect from an action RPG. Your weapon can be upgraded, you can cast two different spells, there's a couple of secret locations and a final boss fight. I'm not sure if there's a frame rate issue or if it's just an e...

Elvira the Arcade Game - Fire World walkthrough (Amiga)

Fire World is the easiest level in the game. There are some alternative and optional paths, so instead of showing the whole level, which would require lots of backtracking, I'm just playing through one of its routes. I'm intentionally skipping the healing spell and many treasures since they're not essential. You can take a slightly shorter path if you go straight to the left at the beginning un...
SOS (Special Operations Soldiers) Net Yaroze game

SOS is a homebrew game developed by Morten Nielsen using the Playstation Net Yaroze SDK. As you can see, it's a really nice Cannon Fodder clone. It even supports the playstation mouse. However, I'm having trouble getting it to work on regular playstations. It was created using Code Warrior instead of just the GNU compiler. Code Warrior features some exclusive functions for loading files from th...
Elvira the Arcade Game - Frozen Earth Walkthrough (Amiga)

Frozen Earth may be the hardest level in the game. Although the enemies are no real threat, it's hard to figure out how to open certain doors. It's also a bit glitchy in the end. After reaching the cave where you fight the final boss, sometimes it never appears or if you use the lightning spell against him, the last door may not be opened leaving you stuck in that room. Elvira the Arcade Game w...
Night Shift gameplay and some cutscenes (Amiga)

Playthrough of levels 2, 6 and 12 of Night Shift for the Commodore Amiga (Lucasfilm Games, 1990). I wanted to unlock all the cutscenes without cheating but I couldn't get beyond level 17. At that point the game is not fun to play anymore and instead, it feels like a tedious and stressful job. At least four employees are required to operate the machine, but the boss hires just one to do the work...
Total NBA '96 easter egg (VIP demo disc)

The VIP demo disc (SCES-00236) featured a playable demo of Total NBA '96. There's an easter egg / cheat code which can be triggered by holding down L1, L2, R1, R2 and X when selecting your team. This unlocks two special players, Torben Schou and Allan Schou. I found this easter egg in 1996 and took for granted that it was also included in the full game. I had never played the retail game until ...

Olympia Takasago Virtua Pachi-Slot III ending ( オリンピア・高砂 バーチャパチスロIII エンディング)
Damn, the game we missed. It looked pretty good, I don't understand why they canceled it. PS: I had also seen a while ago in a Wiki made by Fans (I think Xenopedia) that they were planning to make an Aliens vs Predator game for Game Boy Advance or the original Game Boy for 2001 or 2004, which ended up being cancelled. Although I doubt that it was real that they had plans to make an AvP game for that console 🤔
It would be nice if this was ported over to at least Nintendo 64. We could hear the music and the sound effects all together
Are any of thease games for Super Nintendo or Super Famicom?

Hi, I'm the author of this CG test! i don't know how you have found this. i don't have it anymore!^^
Hi. Thanks for stopping by. Unfortunately, I don't have access to the video files any longer. The CD-R where I stored them is not readable anymore. I found them more than 20 years ago in an online portfolio, I can't remember the url. Thanks for sharing them back then.
@@qobol it should be on my personal website. I didn't remember it. It's cool to see this again.thx!🙏
@@thierrybansront8813 Great work! I was wondering if you could confirm what this test was for as the model doesnt seem to line up with the PS2 game footage we have!

My favorite game as a kid even though I had NO idea how to play it!
it reminds me of Dragon Valor, I can't wait to try it
When I was very young (5 or 6 years, so over 35 years ago) I watched my 10 years older brother play this game - and I was totally confused by it. Incredible how people could stay oriented.
Si, en 2024 CANAL PLUS, EUROSPORT Y DAZN en Juegos Olimpicos de Paris.
found in a net yaroze compilation on the net: those games deserved to be commercialized
I remember my family playing this when i was a kid and my uncle yelling "Did anyone else see the mole?" immediately after the long jump xD

Lo tenía grabado en VHS, y duró bastante, hasta que mi padre echó mano de la cinta para grabarse una porno, el tío cerdo
Track 10 19:58 got featured on the demo version of this for the replay theme! YEW!!! 🤙🤙🤙
Yep
I noticed they seemed to fix this issue on all 1001 models made after January 1996. I had the gradient banding and dynamic lighting problems on an SCPH-1001 model made November 1995, as well as my long since dead childhood Japanese SCPH-1000 dated September 1994 (I looked at the bottom of the lid for the date). It did this with Shadow Man, Tomb Raider like in this video, PowerSlave, and to a lesser degree Quake 2 and Batman & Robin. All the other 100x machines that I have from January 1996 onwards, the color was normal. Also, that's very interesting seeing how the dev kits from 1996 like your DHLH-1102 had this issue. I wonder if it uses a 1994 or 1995 era motherboard, or if they fixed it on the regular consumer models, but forgot to on the dev kits.
i think the blue dev kit is equiped with VRAM memory. Sony provided 2 colored dev kit consoles, blue (equiped with VRAM) and green (equiped with SGRAM) this was to assure backwards compatibility with launch Ps1 models that came with VRAM installed. So developers had to be sure their game was working with both types.
7:05 this is a pushy block that makes a noise when you push it. What does it do?
I can't see any difference. There are other blocks you can push but they don't make that beeping noise and apparently they don't trigger anything. Whatever it does is not essential to complete the level. If I find more about it I'll post it here.
Man, nice run!! This game is near impossible....
Never even noticed on my old ps1.
The floppy sounds are fucking annoying.
very impressive!
Thanks. This interpreter is great for making simple games which don't require accurate collision detection.
Hey man, I had this game in my Amiga back then...its a great game with addictive gameplay and great colourfull graphics... Never got really far myself though so I love to see this whole playthrough...
Thanks for uploading these. I've wanted to see them since I read about them in cheat books when I was a kid.
La radio con chepa!
Did this ever get out as the full game?
No. Development took longer than expected and the license expired before the game was done. Also, despite being almost complete, the game was still buggy.
Nice! The music is slightly different in the final release also
Gracias por recuperar esta maravilla! 🙏🏻🏍️🌆
Voodoo Nightmare was one of my first games on the Amiga. It's really hard to control and first I didn't get very far. But I tried on persistently because I somehow always liked the atmosphere of that game. Later I got stuck in the gorilla temple. Years after that I finally could complete it - although I never quite understood the (mysterious) zombies part. This part is easier than the rest of the game though. It got some quite bad reviews back then which I never fully understood. Thanks for uploading this.
I LOVED this game! What a cool idea. Totally needs a remake
I LLVED this game!
Nice comparison. I just found out that only one of my two SCPH-1002 consoles has this banding problem.
Then you have a very rare unit. Models with Rev. C hardware and A/V direct out are uncommon. Take good care of it.
Is this the unreleased ps1 game?
No, the pictures are from a pc version. A ps1 port was planned but after the game was entirely redesigned they realized it was beyond the ps1 possibilities so the port was cancelled.
@@qobol Actually those pictures seem to be from PS1 port as it was only playable version at E3'97 before they changed sprite models to 3D ones (still on PS1). Only the last three pictures seem to be from PC version though.
@@kordelas2514There was also early work done on a Sega Saturn version, but hardware a mare to work with, using Quads instead of polygons for example
@@thefurthestmanfromhome1148 No, there was not. All they did was testing prototypes on PS1 until they restarted the project on PC.
What console or computer was this supposed to come out on?
It was going to be a PlayStation 1 game.
@@qobol cool! Thanks!
Are you use American version
No, it's the Japanese one, but the easter eggs are the same in all versions.
Hey, the description says that the original video ran for 32 minutes but I wanted to see the full original 32 minute video.
I cut all the Spanish speech before each picture. It would have been uninteresting for non-Spanish speakers.
@@qobol That's not Spanish speech, that's non-Spanish speech!
Do you have videos showing other games that behave differently on the old version? Jet Moto 3 has a glitch afaik exclusive to the old rev a and b versions of the psx.
No, but you can also try 40 Winks to see the same effect as in the Tomb Raider games. I also read years ago at assemblergames that Brain Dead 13 wasn't displayed properly on earlier models but I've never seen it myself.
What bullies think: You are slow Reality: 4:04
Over a few days I wrote something that split this video into frames, processed the input so it could be read by tesseract and translated by Google, and it was somewhat nonsense. A good bit of story became clearer however: It was about an island where people are created as living pasta, and you play as "number 3" the third pasta creature made as food for the dragon. Your goal is to kill and eat people/enemies, cooking them as pasta and eating them which restores health if you get hurt, in the end killing and eating the dragon which let's you become a real person. (one guy says that the story is all just make believe in the authors mind and not to worry about it) You also go around and collect nebulous looking items which turned out to be things like cod roe, salt and meat sauce. At the end you kill the dragon, cook it with the ingredients and eat the dragon pasta, which tastes like guana meat. Then you become a real person and that's it.
Is there any more information on this? A translation maybe? Why was it made?
Sorry for the late response. The Japanese magazine Dengeki-oh organized a game competition in the late '90s. Games submitted had to be made using the Playstation Net Yaroze. This was one of the games submitted to that contest. I have the source code in case you're interested in translating the game.
@@qobol wow how did you get the source code? I roughly translated it at one point (see other comment) but the source would still be cool to see. Its just so incomprehensible that it tickles something in my brain if that makes sense
@@somemong989 Someone made a backup of the Net Yaroze website including many sources and binaries: archive.org/details/webyaroze.7z But if you're only interested in this particular source I've uploaded a copy: www.mediafire.com/file/jwgbr4ujdzw31qr/DRAPAS2.LZH/file
@@qobol awesome, I will check this out thank-you
Is it like this on many games?
It happens on games which use goraud shading or real time lighting but the effect is not as bad in every case. 40 Winks is also affected but still looks nicer than Tomb Raider.
All the years I've loved this game and I didn't even realise it was officially an Atlanta 96 game outside of the west. Instead, we just got the very dull "Olympic Games" on Ps1
This came in the 90s and blew our minds away. I am 41 years old now and GT2 will forever be my best racing game.
